Slender Wine offers no sugar and no calories

An Indiana winemaker will get his chance in the spotlight at this weekend’s Academy Awards.
A zero calorie wine called “Slender” created by the Chateau Thomas Winery will be among the items included in the gift bags for the stars.
The winery boasts that “Slender” has no sugar, no carbs and no fats.
It sells for roughly $10 a bottle and it probably tastes like crap.

It’s good that you are skeptical about the quality of this wine, but it is unfortunate that you actually buy the “zero calorie” line. It’s the sweetener that has no calories, not the alcohol, which still makes up the majority of calories in any wine.
