‘Recession-Proof Love’ bear… for under $100

Times are tough, but one company in Vermont is responding by bringing a bit of humor to the market.
Vermont Teddy Bear has a limited-edition “Recession-Proof Love” bear. The company will make 200 bears with a price tag just under $100.
“These guys are $99.95, but we do like to remind people that they are 100% unconditionally guaranteed for life,” says Wendy Duval, spokesperson for Vermont Teddy Bear Company. “So, unlike the recession these guys will last forever.”
The bears went on sale Wednesday morning and a few customers have already put in their orders.
