Jobless, sick, 35-year-old mother of 9 cries foul over sterilization
A 35-year-old mother of nine is suing a Springfield hospital, three doctors and two nurses, claiming they permanently sterilized her against her will, violating her reproductive rights, according to a lawsuit filed in Superior Court.
Tessa Savicki, who has nine children aged 3 to 21, claims doctors were supposed to implant an intrauterine device, which is a type of reversible birth control, after she delivered a son, Manuel Flores, on Dec. 19, 2006, at Baystate Medical Center.
Instead, she said, a type of permanent sterilization known as a tubal ligation was performed, leaving her mentally distraught and incapable of bearing more children.

Savicki has nine children from several men, is unemployed and relies on public assistance for two of the four children who live with her. She receives supplemental security income, or SSI, for a disability, non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma, she said. Her mother has custody of three of her children. Two of her children are no longer minors.

I’m sorry, but I’m siding with the hospital. It isn’t right they did this without telling her, but, reading the article she would’ve said ‘no’ anyway… 9 kids is enough lady, you can’t even support them on your own.

screw her, people pay taxes so help can be given to others who actually need it, not lazy ass pshycos with a million kids

woah woah, the woman is not a psycho… Yes, 9 kids is a lot, and yes, she may be on public assistance care but I think its her decision what to do with HER body and how many kids she wants to have

I agree with you guys, we have to pay for that dam kids she does not even have a fricking job! Someone has to do something. If they would have done that Octomom, we would not be paying her 13 kids!! People need to be responsible, not stupid! Get your ass out of the trailer park and stop spreading your dam legs hoe!! My God what is wrong with people??

I’m glad they did it. She clearly cant take care of herself, and is only having kids to get more money.
I dont feel bad for her whats so ever. She had 9 kids maybe by 9 different fathers, gross
