Jayne Campbell Soliman gives birth after death
A British woman by the name of Jayne Campbell Soliman was only 25 weeks pregnant when she complained of a headache and collapsed in her bedroom last Wednesday. Upon arriving at the hospital, doctors realized that Soliman, 41, had suffered a brain hemorrhage caused by a hidden tumor. She was, sadly, pronounced clinically dead. Determined to save her baby, however, doctors managed to keep Soliman’s heart beating for two days — just long enough to deliver her daughter, Aya Jayne. Today, four weeks ahead of schedule, four-day-old Aya is being hailed a miracle baby and weighs just over two pounds.
Some of you may have heard of Soliman before, for she’s best known as a champion figure skater and once ranked seventh in the entire world.
