Stallion Semen to be Served up in New Zealand as New Energy Drink
The extreme of food now has a new treat du jour – shots of stallion semen. New Zealanders will be serving up glasses of horse semen at the famed Hokitika Wildfoods festival next month, a “delicacy” that racehorse owner Lindsay Kerslake says will have extreme foodies “raring to go”. “
Horses are pure testosterone, you know. They have hardly any cholesterol, so the idea is you knock it back and feel like a stallion yourself,” said Mr Kerslake, of Christchurch. “You’ll have as much zizz as a stallion for a week afterwards.”
Canadian Man Claims to be World’s Fattest Contortionist
With the ability to press his soles to his cheeks, turn himself into a human dart board, and dislocate his shoulders to escape from a straitjacket, Matt Alaeddine’s resume reads more like a medical examiner’s report. Couple that with his sizable mass — well over 400 pounds — and the Edmonton comic and contortionist has found a ticket around the world, securing him a place in the infamous Jim Rose Circus…
Alaeddine, 30, started doing contortion as a street performer at the Edmonton Fringe Festival about 10 years ago. When performing his contortions, Alaeddine stuffs his rolling hillsides into a gold nylon suit labelled “one size fits all” that he bought from the women’s section of a hipster-friendly clothing store.
“You go to work every day sitting at a desk. It’s not for me. I mean, some people, they just want to get out there and climb and mountain … I’m not going to climb a mountain. Comedy is my mountain. Contortion is my mountain,” Alaeddine says.“Obesity! It’s working for me!”
Over the years he’s gone by many stage names, including Fat Matt and Powermann. He says he’s the world’s fattest contortionist, though that isn’t a label in any official, record-breaking capacity — not that an official label matters, really.

Parisian luxury hotel for dogs gets tails wagging
Heated pools, massage salons and a-la-carte menus are de rigueur at luxury hotels across the world but in one exclusive Paris establishment the difference is the guests: they have four legs, and enthusiastically wagging tails.
Actuel Dogs bills itself as France’s first luxury hotel for dogs, and founders Devi and Stan Burun, a dog behavior specialist and lifelong dog-lover, also offer training programs unruly hounds and dog walks in the woods.
As well as a dip in the pool, or a massage, guests including Ulysse, a bumptious yellow Labrador sporting a smart red collar, enjoy “doggy jogging,” or simply relax on cushioned couches in their luxury suites.
Their tiled-floor rooms smell fresh and clean and are adorned with framed prints of dogs and equipped with televisions so dogs can watch their choice of DVDs.
Owners pay between 26 euros and 35 euros ($36-$48) to leave their lucky hounds for a full day and while the luxury touches appeal to owners, the key difference with traditional kennels is that dogs are not locked up in cages.
Shop to make breast milk ice cream
A specialist ice cream parlor plans to serve up breast milk ice cream and says people should think of it as an organic, free-range treat.
The breast milk concoction, called the “Baby Gaga,” will be available from Friday at the Icecreamists restaurant in London’s Covent Garden.
Icecreamists founder Matt O’Connor was confident his take on the “miracle of motherhood” and priced at a hefty 14 pounds ($23) a serving will go down a treat with the paying public.
The breast milk was provided by mothers who answered an advertisement on online mothers’ forum Mumsnet.
Victoria Hiley, 35, from London was one of 15 women who donated milk to the restaurant after seeing the advert.
Hiley works with women who have problems breast-feeding their babies. She said she believes that if adults realized how tasty breast milk actually is, then new mothers would be more willing to breast-feed their own newborns.
“What could be more natural than fresh, free-range mother’s milk in an ice cream? And for me it’s a recession beater too — what’s the harm in using my assets for a bit of extra cash,” Hiley said in a statement.
“I tried the product for the first time today — it’s very nice, it really melts in the mouth.”
The Baby Gaga recipe blends breast milk with Madagascan vanilla pods and lemon zest, which is then churned into ice cream.
O’Connor said the Baby Gaga was just one of a dozen radical new flavors at the shop.
“Some people will hear about it and go, ‘yuck’ but actually it’s pure, organic, free-range and totally natural,” he said. “I had a Baby Gaga just this morning and I feel great.”
The Man With 39 Wives, 94 Children And 33 Grandchildren
He is head of the world’s biggest family – and says he is ‘blessed’ to have his 39 wives. Ziona Chana also has 94 children, 14-daughters-in-law and 33 grandchildren. They live in a 100-room, four storey house set amidst the hills of Baktwang village in the Indian state of Mizoram, where the wives sleep in giant communal dormitories.
The family is organised with almost military discipline, with the oldest wife Zathiangi organising her fellow partners to perform household chores such as cleaning, washing and preparing meals. One evening meal can see them pluck 30 chickens, peel 132lb of potatoes and boil up to 220lb of rice. Coincidentally, Mr Chana is also head of a sect that allows members to take as many wives as he wants.
Graphic Cutting, Self-harming YouTubes Videos Viewed by Millions an Alarming New Trend
Videos on YouTube showing cutting and other self-injury methods are an alarming new trend, attract millions of hits and could serve as a how-to for troubled viewers, a study warns.
Many videos show bloody live enactments or graphic photos of people cutting their arms or legs with razors or other sharp objects, the study found. Many also glamorize self-injury and few videos discourage it, the study authors said.
They also feature haunting music and rich imagery that may attract young self-injurers and trigger the behavior, especially in those who have just started to self-injure, the authors suggest.

Teenage girl collapses and dies after first kiss
A teenager girl collapsed and died from sudden adult death syndrome (SADS) minutes after she was kissed for the first time, an inquest has heard.
Jemma Benjamin, 18, was kissed by fellow university student Daniel Ross, 21, at his home after a night out together.
But Miss Benjamin suddenly slumped onto the sofa – and died in front of Mr Ross’s eyes.
The inquest heard Jemma died from SADS, a rare heart condition which kills 500 people in Britain each year.
Mr Ross, who had known Miss Benjamin for three months, tried desperately to save her before paramedics arrived on the scene.
But the inquest heard nothing could have be done for Miss Benjamin, who was described as a “picture of health”.
Mr Ross told police that he and Miss Benjamin had been friends for three months – but that was the first time they had kissed.
He said: “It was not a sexual relationship but we saw each other a couple of times a week.
“We were going to go to a bar for some food and went back to my house for a credit card which I had forgotten.
“We were talking and ended up kissing in the hallway by the front door.
“We went into the kitchen and then the living room and Jemma sat down on the sofa.”
Mr Ross said that Miss Benjamin’s eyelids “suddenly began to droop” and her mouth started to froth before she collapsed at his student flat in Treforest, Pontypridd, South Wales.
He said: “I rang her mother to see if she had epilepsy. She fell in and out of consciousness.”
