This Is Courtney Stodden Wearing A Lettuce Bikini (pics)

PETA figured out that if they wanted to really make you quit delicious meat they would have to get Courtney Stodden and her ginormous fake boobies in a lettuce bikini and have her parade all over town with a ‘go vegan’ sign.

The face of the lady in the flower jacket says it all.

Miss USA Gets Naked For PETA (pic)

PETA got four former Miss USA winners to strip naked for their latest anti-fur ad.

Past winners Shanna Moakler (1995), Shandi Finnessey (2004), Susie Castillo (2003) and Alyssa Campanella (2011), have all posed nude for the photo, shot in black and white, which says “Feel Beautiful in Your Own Skin, and Let Animals Keep Theirs.”

“As long as I’m the director of Miss Nevada, we will never award fur coats as prizes, and I urge my fellow pageant directors to make the same pledge,” Moakler said in a statement to PETA. “Kind people today are taking a stand against cruelty to animals—so a fur coat is no prize for a compassionate, socially-aware woman.”

Moakler went onto say, “I’ve been an animal lover all my life, and the more I learned of the torture that animals go through in the name of fashion, I just think it’s so unnecessary,” Castillo says. She added that she feels “blessed” to team up with her pageant sisters “to take a stand united and to tell the pageant industry not to support the fur industry.”

Helen Flanagan Gets Some Body Paint For PETA (pic)

Helen Flanagan got naked to save the animals. The British glamour model got painted like a snake for PETA’s latest campaign to save exotic animals.

Nobody would kill animals if they looked like this… although we would probably have a lot of freaky hybrids roaming the jungles.

In A First: Staples Center McDonald’s Closing For Morrissey Concert

The vegan super powers of Morrissey managed to convince the Staples Center to go meat-free, an achievement even Paul McCartney couldn’t accomplish.

If you are planning to attend Morrissey’s sold-out March 1 concert beware: The LA venue will only offer vegetarian food, for the first time ever. That means all the McDonald’s outlets there will be closed, Billboard reports. McCartney had made the same request, but got turned down. “I don’t look upon it as a victory for me, but a victory for the animals,” Morrissey says in a statement.

A portion of the proceeds will benefit PETA… if there is a concert after all. Rolling Stone points out that Morrissey has canceled a few shows recently due to health concerns including a bleeding ulcer, but he’s set to appear on Jimmy Kimmel Live a week from today and resume touring the following day.

PETA’s New Ad Is Kind Of Gross, Totally Hilarious (video)

PETA is known for regularly using semi-nude ads to get people’s attention about animal rights issues… So it was no surprise when their latest ad came out.

The ad features a bunch of men with phallic-looking vegetables sticking out of their pants. The aim? To show that a vegan diet can help sexual stamina.

Kind of lewd, but totally hilarious.

PETA Calls Olsen Twins ‘Trolls’ Over New Bags

Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen have angered PETA with their new designer backpack. Why? Well, you guessed it: the luxury item is made with fur, E! reports.

“If it looks like a troll and acts like a troll, it’s probably a Trollsen Twin—or someone wearing one of their new totes, which are made from the fur and skins of innocent animals,” says the group in a statement.

I’m personally more offended by the fact each bag costs $17,000.

“What the Olsens lack in creativity, they try to make up for in shock value. Sadly, it’s the foxes, calves, and alligators—who often have the fur ripped off them while they are still conscious and able to feel pain—who pay the dearest price,” the statement continues.
