Eddie Murphy Is A Reggae Singer Now (video)
Out of the blue Eddie Murphy released his first new single, almost 20 years since he released Party All the Time (God I hate that song)
This time around Eddie is experimenting with reggae, and somehow got Snoop Lion (or Snoop Dogg as you probably know him) to collaborate.
The song, called “Red Light,” is the first single off his upcoming album titled 9.
“I didn’t want to leave it at ‘Party All the Time,’” said Murphy about his singing career in a new interview with Rolling Stone. “All I’ve been doing is making music. I haven’t been working on films, haven’t been developing movies, or any of that shit.”

Electric Zoo Canceled After Two People OD
The third day of Electric Zoo, a New York City music festival, was canceled today after two concertgoers died of suspected drug overdoses and four others became very ill
The city cited “serious health risks” at the festival, held over Labor Day weekend at Randalls Island, and the event’s promoters agreed, posting a statement extending their “deepest condolences to the families of the two people who passed away” and saying that “because there is nothing more important to us than our patrons, we have decided that there will be no show today.” Mayor Michael Bloomberg’s office said the deaths appeared to involve MDMA—aka ecstasy or molly—though official causes of death are pending.

Here are the members of The Hype, Bono, The Edge and Adam Clayton who were seventeen and Larry Mullen Jr. at just sixteen performing their song Street Mission in Youngline.
They actually kicked ass.
