Jerry Sandusky Doesn’t Get New Trial

Sorry … you are not getting a new trial.

Rot in jail.

A judge on Wednesday rejected the request from Sandusky’s lawyers, saying they had had enough time to prepare for the case.

The former Penn State assistant football coach is serving a 30- to 60-year prison sentence for sexual abuse of 10 boys after his conviction last year. He’s maintained his innocence and vowed to appeal.

Sandusky lawyer Norris Gelman says the decision means the defense will appeal to the mid-level Superior Court within the next 30 days.
