Boston’s season comes down to one player, and that’s Kevin Garnett. When he went out injured at about the three-quarters pole of the regular season. The Celtics were 41-9 and ahead of both the Lakers and Cleveland with the best record in the league when Garnett went down the first time, so they should be in the mix for the NBA’s best record if their Big 3 stay healthy. But each member of the Big Three is at least 32 years old and they have a combined 38 seasons under their belt – so it may be now or never for this group to win a second ring. Plus Allen and Rondo are in the final years of their contracts.
