Lindsay Lohan tops list of celebrity DUI odds
San Jose, Costa Rica, Sept. 4, 2008 – It’s been more than a month since a major Hollywood celebrity has been arrested for a DUI. Unfortunately, in this day and age, that constitutes a drought, meaning that another celebrity bust should be coming soon, and you can bet on whom you think that will be on WagerWeb.com.
The WagerWeb.com “favorite” is Lindsay Lohan, who currently is on DUI probation stemming from her second arrest last July. She reportedly is “on track” with her probation and has another progress report in January. Lohan has completed her 10 days of community service, spent 84 minutes in jail – satisfying a 24 hour sentence, assisted in a morgue and emergency room and attended all her required obligations. She must continue with drug treatment and an 18 month alcohol education program. However, Lohan’s father believes Lindsay is drinking again and blames her partner, Samantha Ronson.
“Transformers” actor Shia LaBeouf was in a serious DUI accident on July 27. The 22-year-old spent several days in the hospital, and he suffered severe enough hand damage that he was off the set of “Transformers 2” for a month after surgery. While police said LaBeouf did not cause the accident and cited the other driver, the actor was still charged with DUI. He also admitted in a magazine interview that he has a drinking problem.
Reality TV star Khloe Kardashian hasn’t been arrested for DUI since 2007, but she was recently sentenced to 30 days in jail for violating probation on that DUI charge. Kardashian was sentenced to 30 days in jail but spent less than three hours there because of overcrowding conditions. Kardashian, the 24-year-old sister of Kim Kardashian, admitted to not attending a court-mandated alcohol awareness program nor the community service.
Meanwhile, former party pals Paris Hilton and Britney Spears have mostly been out of the negative headlines, with both vowing to grow up and leave that “empty” lifestyle. Can they stay clean in the face off all those parties, fame and temptation?
