Michelle Obama dares to wear shorts, people go ape shit
First lady Michelle Obama wore what some consider short shorts when she went to the Grand Canyon with her family. Her choice to wear shorts is being highly criticized by some members of the media and the public. Some media outlets are calling the outfit ’scandalous’ and ‘inappropriate’.
In all fairness, the shorts are definitely NOT short, they are mid-thigh. I would understand if she was wearing a pair of Daisy Dukes and half her ass was hanging out, but these are pretty dressy shorts. Anyway, they are on a freaking summer vacation, is she supposed to wear pants and a blazer?
Now, let us all remember that Michelle is actually a young first lady and she has a great body, we are not used to hip first ladies. Laura Bush, Hilary Clinton… they weren’t exactly ’summer shorts’ material, were they?

NO…it’s NOT acceptable. She needs to represent the position. Dress appropriately. She’s dressed like she’s going out in the back yard to pick some greens. Honestly…Does that thing look like 1st Lady material to you? I didn’t think so.
