Scarlett Johansson wants to sing like Sinatra
Scarlett Johansson’s biggest idol is not Marilyn Monroe or some other famous female beauty. She likes Frank Sinatra and dreams to sing like him one day. Although she is more of an actress for the moment and considering the fact that her music career wasn’t very glorious since the beginning, the ‘Girl With a Pearl Earring’ doesn’t want to give up.
Recently she admitted for London’s The Times that Sinatra was the hero of her childhood and that she wants to sing like him in the future. “I always wanted to be Frank Sinatra. Even as a little kid, I always thought I’d grow up and sound like Sinatra. I’m still waiting for that to happen. A lot of actors are great mimics anyway, and that can relate to music as well. I think all singers are acting, whether it’s their lyrics or another writer’s lyrics, they are performing. I don’t think the two are dissimilar”, she said.
In 2008, the ‘Lost in Translation’ actress tried to start her music career, but her first album was longtime criticized. Yet, as a real fighter, Scarlett is preparing her second album, called ‘The Break-Up’, where she sings along with her close friend Pete Yorn.
