Kevin Jonas engaged to girlfriend Danielle Deleasa
Kevin Jonas is taking a Jersey girl as his bride. Though the Jonas Brothers, who are from Wyckoff, moved to a fancy new spread outside Dallas, he found love with Danielle Deleasa, a former hairdresser who hails from Denville, and showed up at her doorstep Wednesday morning with a proposal and a diamond ring Jonas designed himself.
“She said yes, yes, yes like 500 times super fast in a row,” Jonas, 21, said.
Though Internet reports have said that Jonas and Deleasa, 22, were childhood friends, she met Jonas two years ago while both were vacationing in the Bahamas with their families.
Jonas had been performing Tuesday night in Vancouver and took a red-eye to the East Coast. “It was tough performing last night, knowing that I was going to ask the biggest question in my life to the most amazing girl in the world,” he says. Younger brothers Joe (who is dating actress Camilla Belle) and Nick (who is reportedly back on with ex-girlfriend Miley Cyrus) congratulated their brother via Twitter: “Dani welcome to the family, we can’t wait to have you join us on the road!”
Kevin Jonas and Deleasa have been rather low-key about their relationship, and she’s made few, if any, red carpet appearances on his arm.
