Don’t roll out the Father of the Year award for Jude Law just yet.
The alleged babydaddy has yet to meet Samantha Burke’s daughter Sophia because he’s waiting on a DNA test to prove he’s the father—though he did pay for the birth.
“It was an act of kindness rather than an admission that he was the dad,” a friend tells News of the World.
“Until he is 100% certain she is his daughter he is only communicating through lawyers,” the source continues. “If he is the father he will meet his obligations to the child.” Also speaking out: Burke’s 80-year-old grandma, who is no fan of Law. “She’s a lovely outgoing girl and he’s a lot older man, with three children from a failed marriage. It breaks your heart,” she says.
