Gasp! Evangeline Lilly plans to quit acting
Lost star Evangeline Lilly has shocked fans with the announcement that she plans to quit acting once the desert island drama ends this spring.
The actress, who also starred in the Oscars favorite The Hurt Locker, wants to “drop off the radar” when the show wraps in May. In fact, Evangeline may not return to Hollywood. She insists she definitely won’t be planning any more acting roles for the foreseeable future.
She tells Eonline.com: “Acting is something I appreciate, and I think it’s been an amazing experience, but I’m not passionate about acting the way you probably should be to call yourself an actor. I want to have some quiet space… and enjoy a little bit of normalcy again (before deciding what’s next).”
Lilly reveals that her first priority will be to take part in charity work in Rwanda.
The final season of Lost premieres tonight.
