Chris Brown says assault details should stay between Rihanna and him
Following the interview that Rihanna gave to Good Morning America, Chris Brown has spoken out.
He says that the details of the incident should’ve stayed private between the 2, instead of Rihanna detailing all in great detail.
“While I respect Rihanna’s right to discuss the specific events of February 8,” Brown says in a statement to MTV News, ” I maintain my position that all of the details should remain a private matter between us.”
Back in February, the day of the Grammies actually, the pair were driving back from a party when Brown received a text.
He would not tell Rihanna who it was from, resulting in a heated argument and Chris “losing it.”
He stopped the car, put Rihanna in a headlock and bit and punched her numerous times.
He was subsequently arrested and plead guilty, sentenced to 5 years probation and 6 months community service.
