Ashlee Simpson quitting her ’singing career’
Celebrity insiders tell London’s The Mirror, the hoedown-dancing, “Pieces of Me” crooner, Ashlee Simpson, has made the decision to hang up her mic and focus on her acting career for the sake of her son with hubby Pete Wentz.
The 25-year-old singer/actress — who was recently canned from the tepid television remake Melrose Place — feels only acting can give her the time to be with the 11-month-old Bronx.
“She’s reading scripts. Acting is her focus now. If she had an album, she’d have to tour and be away from Bronx. She wants consistency….”
Now, we wonder exactly what she means with ‘her singing career’, it appears to us that she gave that up YEARS ago. And what does she mean with ‘her acting’?? Have you seen this woman act?? It’s like watching mold grow on a rock.
